Komphela refuses to concede PSL title race

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is refusing to stop believing his side can't challenge for the Premiership title despite trailing Mamelodi Sundowns by four points.

Amakhosi saw their title hopes suffer a major setback when they conceded an unfortunate late equaliser against SuperSport United to drop two valuable points in the league.

In addition to Chiefs being in fourth spot with a four point deficit behind the league leaders, Sundowns also have the luxury of two matches in hand. Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits in second and third are also seemingly in much better position to challenge.

Nonetheless, Komphela told his club's official website there is still much to play for. He said, "There’s still everything to play for. We must just grab our chances.

"We need to concentrate more. Check how we lost against Cape Town City, last kick of the match. We will keep playing until the end."
