Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela says his team will fight to get into the top eight of the league as they prepare for the final game of the season.
Abafana Bes'thende currently sit 10th on the table with 36 points after 29 games while Highlands Park occupy eighth position, two points ahead of Arrows.
Arrows have a tough fixture as they host Bidvest Wits on Saturday and know only a victory will do.
Komphela said in quotes published by the Sowetan: "We are fighting for it ... having another go for it.
"It was more about keeping the franchise [remaining in the PSL], which we did a few weeks back, and trying to peep into the top eight."
Komphela also notes that the climax to the season could be exciting for the fans of some teams as the league title and relegation battles come to thrilling conclusions.
The Arrows mentor went on: "Nobody knows until the last round. It has not been confirmed who is the champion or who is relegated.
"Somebody is going to drop dead; God forbid, on Saturday, that is the level of competition we find ourselves in."
