Golden Arrows head coach Steve Komphela has already identified a striker that he wants to add to his squad for next season.
Komphela said he does not want to take anything away from his two experienced forwards - Lerato Lamola and Knox Mutizwa - but another marksman would improve his side.
Mutizwa is currently Abafana Bes'thende's leading scorer this season with 11 strikes.
Komphela said in quotes published in the Sowetan: "Already we are thinking about next season.
"I am not pointing at Lamola or Mutizwa for their lack of depth; they've done a lot for us.
"But if you could have another prolific goal-scorer, things could change here [at Arrows].
"I do have one striker in my mind, but it's not as easy. you have to negotiate this, try this, try that, but there's [a striker targeted]."
Arrows are seventh in the Absa Premiership standings and take on Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town in their next encounter on March 22.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
