Komphela: Buchanan will add new dimension

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela believes new signing Keagan Buchanan will boost his side's attacking threat.

Buchanan, together with Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Enocent Mkhabela are the marquee signings made by Chiefs after eight new arrivals were announced on Monday.

The 25 year-old midfielder was signed from Bloemfontein Celtic to bolster Amakhosi's attacking options for the upcoming season.

"Keagan is the type of player any coach would like as he can defend and attack with great tenacity," said Komphela.

"He has all the attributes to make a top-class midfielder and will add an extra dimension to our midfield.

"We've been monitoring Enocent and are delighted that he agreed to join us. We look forward to his hard work in the middle of the park."

The other signings include Lewis Macha, Mitchell Katsvairo, Edmore Chirambadare, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Sibusiso Khumalo.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
