Cape Town - Golden Arrows can challenge for a top-eight place and still entertain thoughts of going all way in the Nedbank Cup, according to their coach Steve Komphela.
Abafana Bes'thende are currently 10th on the Premiership table, four points from securing a top eight position with nine games of the season still remaining.
The KZN club are also still in the Nedbank Cup and will face Bloemfontein Celtic in the quarterfinals.
Komphela says he will not prioritize one competition over the other but admits they will need some luck to achieve their goals.
The Arrows mentor said: "At this stage of the season, luck plays a huge role in results.
"Good thing, we are not fighting relegation, it won't be that hard for us to push for cup and league games, we can manage to drive both.
"We are not under pressure so we need to be confident and remain optimistic. In life you must always see the light in the darkness."
The next fixture for Golden Arrows will be in the Absa Premiership on Saturday when they host Orlando Pirates.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
