Komphela admits Chiefs concern

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has admitted he is concerned by his team's lack of concentration during integral periods in games.

Amakhosi overcame Golden Arrows 2-0 courtesy of goals from Camaldien Abraw and William Twala on Tuesday.

The defending league champions received a scare during the encounter though after Arrows had multiple goal scoring opportunities to take the lead.

With 29 points, Komphela will hope that his charges can close the 10 point gap with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

"I don't want to call it an inability or maybe a tendency. Our tendency to take our foot off the pedal I would say yes, it is something to consider," Komphela told KickOff.

"We didn't start the second half well but that we scored in the last minute should be complimented as much as we lost matches in the last minutes.

"So it is not a sin that we scored in the last minute, but it is obviously a concern."
