Cape Town - Black Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu will learn what sanctions he faces on Tuesday night after using foul language against his coach Dylan Kerr on Saturday.
Leopards lost 2-1 to Maritzburg United at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday but it was during the Premiership encounter that Ndlovu and Kerr initially clashed.
An attacking free-kick was awarded to Leopards with the side 2-1 down to the Team of Choice and Ndlovu came charging out of his goal to insist he could take it.
After some pushing and shoving between himself and his team-mates, he finally earned the right to strike the set-piece. This was despite the protestations of Kerr on the sidelines.
He subsequently walloped the strike over the bar as the home team handed the three points to United.
A confrontation ensued after the final whistle between the pair during which time the 26-year-old told the Englishman to 'f**k off'.
Kerr later said of the incident: "I don't mind the anger and craziness in football, but it's got to be done right. You can't tell the coach to f*** off. You can't.
"I am totally frustrated. You know, my chairman comes into the change room and we would have an argument and a disagreement, but you don't tell your boss to f*** off. It's plain and simple. It was wrong. That shouldn't have happened."
Nonetheless, Leopards' spokesperson Berry Ramunenyiwa said the club would announce any sanctions after Tuesday's game against Mamelodi Sundowns at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Ramunenyiwa told Soccer Laduma: "That's something we are working on in-house. We will give information after the game."
Kick-off is at 19:30.
