Khuzwayo to undergo surgery

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo fractured a bone in his ankle and is set to undergo surgery.

According to the club’s official club website, the goalkeeper got injured during Amakhosi’s victory in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 encounter against Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town a fortnight ago.

Amakhosi won the cup match 3-0 with Khuzwayo recording a clean sheet in goal.

“Brilliant will undergo surgery on Friday,” team physiotherapist Dave Milner confirms.

As a result of this, Khuzwayo will most likely miss Amakhosi’s next fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.

Kick off is at 20:15.
