Khune wishes Dolly well for Montpellier

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and captain Itumeleng Khune has wished Keagan Dolly well as the winger gets set to begin his career in Europe with French Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier.

Dolly has reportedly agreed terms with the side after they activated his $1.7 million buyout clause and bought him from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 24-year-old played a key role to help the Brazilians win the CAF Champions League late last year.

As such, Khune, who has often been linked with a move to Europe but remains at Chiefs, has offered his well wishes to Dolly as he begins his journey with La Paillade.

The Bafana Bafana international took to his Twitter account and said: "Congratulations to my Bafana teammate Keagan Dolly for his move to a French team, Montpellier. Wishing you everything of the best. Nkalakatha (top dog)."

Meanwhile, the keeper is a nominee for an award as he is one of the candidates to collect the Most Influential Young South African in Sports.

Cricketer AB de Villiers and athlete Wayde van Niekerk are also among the contenders.
