Khune urges all South Africans to stay at home

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune has sent a message encouraging all South Africans to obey the coronavirus lockdown guidelines by staying at home.

South Africa entered into a nationwide lockdown at the instruction of President Cyril Ramaphosa on 26 April to fight the coronavirus pandemic that has seen 1380 people infected as of 1 April.

Let's all stay at home, let's keep fit", Khune said in a video message on Twitter. "Let's stay at home and make sure that we fight the Covid-19 [pandemic] together.

All football matches are suspended indefinitely with teams forced to send players individual fitness programs to maintain their fitness with the league suspended indefinitely.
