Khumalo faces uncertain future

Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Sibusiso Khumalo has revealed his anxiety at the lack of feedback from management about his soon-to-expire contract.

Khumalo is yet to be offered a contract extension on his current deal, which comes to an end at the conclusion of this season.

Coach Stuart Baxter, who joined the club earlier this year, may still be assessing which players are part of his future plans.

"We haven't spoken, it's not in my hands. I will be happy to stay at the club if they still want me and give me a good offer," Khumalo told KickOff.

"It's up to me to work hard and yes, of course it does worry me, but there is nothing I can do. I have to push and do my job on the field.

"I have to concentrate on the games left and see what happens at the end of the season."
