Kermit: Pirates forever in my heart

Cape Town - Kermit Erasmus sent a heartfelt message to everyone involved at Orlando Pirates following his move to French side, Stade Rennais.

The striker departed Parktown in a surprise move abroad to ply his trade in Ligue 1.

Erasmus took to Instagram to let everyone involved at the club including the fans that his time at the Buccaneers will forever leave an imprint in his heart.

“Never give up on your #Dreams work hard and have patience," said Erasmus on his official page.

“First of all I would like to thank all the #OrlandoPirates fans throughout my time at Pirates, for believing in me and supporting me.

“Then I also would like to thank the whole #OrlandoPirates team (Coach, Players and Technical team) through ups and downs we still had a good time together.

“Last but not least I would like to thank the Chairman for giving me a chance to play for his team, for keep believing in me, for guiding me and for giving me this opportunity to chase my dreams in #Europe.

“Will never forget and will carry #OrlandoPirates forever in my heart.

“Excited for this new journey @staderennaisfc for many more good times to come. Will work hard, to become better, to achieve more... To get the best out of me."
