Katsande wants strong finish

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfield destroyer Willard Katsande has urged his team-mates to put the 3-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns behind them.

Amakhosi conceded a penalty, by Katsande, and an-own goal in the debilitating defeat at Loftus Versveld on Saturday.

The defending Premiership champions have endured a tumultuous season with a record of 11 wins, 11 draws and five losses.

"We are professionals and we know such things happen in football," Katsande told Goal.

"We have to forget our past game while learning from it and lift ourselves up as we face Bloemfontein Celtic.

"As players we know what is expected of us and we have to do it for the team and bounce back to win tomorrow.

"You know the remaining three games won't be easy for any team and we all know that. That's why we have to focus on the game in hand and win for ourselves, for the team, for the supporters and the whole Chiefs family."

Chiefs will next face Bloemfontein Celtic at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
