Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande hopes their win over Golden Arrows will spur them on to a challenge for the title this season.
Katsande picked up his second consecutive man of the match award in the 2-0 win over Arrows and the Zimbabwe international believes it's time Amakhosi started making a move up the standings.
"It was important for us to get back to winning ways after what happened in the derby," he told Football411.
"It was good for us to get maximum points.
"I think it's about time we started picking up maximum points and climb up the ladder. Going forward, against Maritzburg, we will try to get all maximum points in order to keep climbing up the log."
Commenting on his current rich vein of form, the Zimbabwe international doesn't think his level is any higher than it was last season and has put it down to hard work and his willingness to keep improving.
"If you look at my performances from the past seasons, I have kept the same level of confidence and continued to work hard," he explained.
"I've remained humble and I try to take the coaches instructions really well, but most importantly, it is that I am ever willing to learn."
