Kapinga focused on Leopards fight

Black Leopards winger Lesedi Kapinga says now is not the time to consider a future away from the club.

The 24-year-old was a reported target for a number of clubs prior to the enforced break as a result of the coronavirus.

He scored six goals and provided six assists as he impressed for Lidoda Duvha, despite their struggles this season.

Assuming the Premier Soccer League is able to continue, Leopards will face a difficult task of securing their survival - as they occupy the bottom spot with six games to play.

The former Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila player told theDaily Sun: "I am at home relaxing and training alone as we have been given a programme to follow.

"With regards to my future, I have had a lot of stories linking me with many teams but, to be honest. I have not spoken to any team or made a decision about my future."

He added: "All I know is that I am a Black Leopards player and I have to be professional. My focus is at Leopards. I want to make sure that Leopards move from the danger zone.

"I cannot start to think about going somewhere else when I am still contracted, and we are not in a good position."

Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits and AmaZulu are all reportedly interested in signing Kapinga.
