Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs' latest signing Lazarous Kambole says the club's need to win trophies is an ambition he shares.
Kambole signed for the Glamour Boys from Zesco United on a three-year deal after previously being linked with Orlando Pirates.
Much is expected of the 25-year-old who once scored the fastest ever hat-trick against Mbabane Swallows in the CAF Champions League for Zesco.
Speaking of his big ambitions with Chiefs, he told the club's official website: "There were rumours a year ago (about Pirates), but I was patient to move at the right time. This is the right time.
"I used to follow Kaizer Chiefs a lot. I knew the type of football they play, and I followed the history of the club online.
"It is a big club and full of ambitions. They are not mere participants, they play to win nothing less than trophies. Chiefs are expected to win titles. My ambitions match theirs.
"Personally, I am here to improve my game, to score more goals and work with my fellow teammates to win matches.
"Back home people are happy for me. Even Zesco fans are raving and happy about my move. That is humbling. God's time is the best!"
