Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Bernard Parker, Willard Katsande and Daniel Akpeyi have signed new contracts at the club.

According to the official Amakhosi website, Parker and Katsande's contracts have been extended until June 2021, while Akpeyi has signed on until June 2022.

Parker and Katsande are still vital members of the first team, while Akpeyi broke into the first team earlier in the season and hasn't looked back, firmly establishing as the Amakhosi's number one.

Meanwhile, Chiefs have not commented on the futures of Itumeleng Khune, George Maluleka and Daniel Cardoso, all of whose contracts expire at the end of the season.

Amakhosi are back in action on Saturday, February 8 as they entertain the Royal Eagles in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32.

Kick-off will be at 18:00 at FNB Stadium.
