Cape Town - Orlando Pirates head coach Kjell Jonevret is hoping the club can organise some tough opponents in preparation for the Nedbank Cup final against SuperSport United on Saturday, June 24.
With the domestic season over in South Africa apart from the final which has been set for late June mainly due to dates in the international calendar, the Sea Robbers will be largely out of competitive action for close to a month.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United could enjoy the luxury of being sharper going into the final as they have a CAF Confederation Cup tie against TP Mazembe on Sunday, June 4, before playing the reverse fixture on June 20.
Nonetheless, Jonevret remains hopeful tough opponents can be found to give Buccaneers good preparation for the final.
"We are going to have two friendly games in two weeks," said Jonevret.
"We are also going to, hopefully, get tough opponents at home or our traveling away but they (club management) are working on that now.
"But I've asked for two games but it's difficult."
