Johnson hails Dikwena win

Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson was full of praise for his players after the 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.

Striker Ndumiso Mabena scored a brace at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium to hand Amakhosi their third league loss of the season.

Johnson also credited the change in tactical approach to their previous encounter as having surprised the opposition.

"In one word, what a game. I thought we could have lost it, and then I also thought we could have won it," Johnson was quoted as saying by Soccer Laduma.

"We came with a completely different plan than the last time we played Chiefs. Credit must go to Chiefs. It didn't fall for them today.

"Chiefs really put us on the back-foot at home here today, but it just didn't fall for them.

"I'm happy for the boys. They put in a really big performance tonight."
