Jele: We're up for the challenge

Cape Town – Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele admits they have a chance to heal the pain from their 2013 CAF Champions League defeat.

The Buccaneers suffered a 3-1 aggregate defeat at the hands of Al-Ahly two years ago.

This time around the Sea Robbers have the opportunity to add the CAF Confederation Cup to their trophy cabinet after lifting the CAF’s prime silverware in 1995 as well as the CAF Super Cup the following year.

According to Orlando Pirates' official Twitter account, Jele admits they have the chance to change things on Saturday.

“We are up for the challenge of playing in a final & are looking forward to doing our country proud”

“For the senior players it was painful to lose the 2013 final after so much work. Now we have an opportunity to change things”

“It won't be easy, but we know that with the support of our fans we will make it. I want to thank the supporters in advance”

Kick-off is at 20:00.
