Cape Town - Free State Stars winger Sinethemba Jantjie is confident they have enough quality to avoid relegation especially after a morale-boosting 4-1 victory over Amazulu in their last outing.
Ea Lla Koto sit in 13th place on the 16-team table, three points above the drop zone with six games of the season remaining. While their thrashing of Usuthu before the international break would have given the team renewed vigour, Jantjie did though caution his teammates saying their job is far from done.
Jantjie told KickOff: "We are not really out of the relegation zone, but after we won that game against AmaZulu at least we are in a better position."The coach [Nikola Kavazovic] is always positive and he is always motivating us. He believes that we are going to survive and I must say he is a very good coach."There are still six games to play and they are not going to be easy. But with the fighting spirit that we have as a team, I am definitely sure we will survive relegation."
Free State Stars' next game in the league will be against Highlands Park on April 6.
