I would love to play in Europe - Billiat

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khama Billiat has reiterated his commitment to the defending Absa Premiership champions.

The Zimbabwe international won the Premiership Players' Player of the Season, Midfielder of the Season and Footballer of the Season at the PSL awards on Monday.

Although attracting interest from overseas clubs, the 25-year-old aims to see out the remaining two years on his contract at Chloorkop.

Billiat and company will face ES Setif from Algeria in the CAF Champions League on June 17 after Downs were reinstated in the competition, their previous opponents AS Vita disqualified for fielding an eligible player.

"I would love to go and play in Europe but I will see. If I don't go to Europe I am still happy at Sundowns," Billiat told KickOff.

"I am looking forward to  the CAF champions League. We have another chance. We learnt our lessons, I am sure now mentally we should be strong.

"We have learnt lessons that we should score goals at home... and we want to do better."
