Wits coach Gavin Hunt admits to feeling the void left by playmaker
Sibusiso Vilakazi's move to reigning Absa Premiership champions, Mamelodi
Sundowns.
Vilakazi formed the core of Hunt's formation in the last three seasons at the university club.
In the recent transfer window, Vilakazi joined Sundowns in a blockbuster deal that saw Mogakolodi Ngele and Cuthbert Malajila move in the opposite direction.
"Vila' is a good, honest professional, but (his move) was good for all parties - for him personally, for the club and for Sundowns," Hunt told Soccer Laduma.
"And it happens in football. I was very sad to see him go... I still miss the boy... but we must move on.
"The team has evolved and it was at the right age for him personally. We have numerous players in that position. A guy like Daine - we need to re-invent him and re-energise him. He is the one and Myeni is another one.
"If you look at our squad, we have enough players that fit into that role. Hellings Mhango is also coming. He hasn't really played in that role, but he can."
