Cape Town - Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt insists he will not rush Sifiso Myeni into his starting XI upon his return to the Bidvest Stadium.
Myeni rejoined the Clever Boys late in the transfer window after three and a half seasons at Orlando Pirates, where he was transfer listed after scoring 17 goals and registering 16 assists in 130 games.
Hunt admits he was delighted to have secured a player of Myeni's calibre but insisted that he needs to get to the level of fitness of his teammates after missing most of the Students pre-season preparations.
"There is no doubt Sifiso is a great player," he told reporters "He has been playing over 26 games every season and that just shows that he is good."
"We will give him time to catch up with the other players as he joined us after the season. We will work on his fitness and then take it from there."
