Hunt pleased with squad depth

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt admits he is happy with his side's performance on Tuesday evening and feels his squad this season is significantly stronger.

After watching his sign down Kaizer Chiefs 2-1, Hunt's feels the squad depth available to him this season is what will set them apart from the other title contenders in the Premiership.

"A game like this we would have drawn or lost last season. We lost twice to Chiefs last season, even though I felt we were better," he told reporters.

"We are trying to play the way that suits the players and I thought we were excellent."

Wits next fixture will be against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday evening.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
