Cape Town - Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt admits were not at their best but still praised his players after edging past Orlando Pirates in an Absa Premiership clash on Saturday.
In the end, the Clever Boys prevailed 4-3 in a game that was played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium because Wits's venue is undergoing renovations.
While not happy to have conceded three goals, Hunt was pleased wit the way they fought.
Hunt told SuperSport TV after the game: "Look, well deserved. I thought we were fantastic.
"That’s not like us to defend like that especially when you get a lead, and I made the change at half-time.
"I thought we needed to make the changes, change the whole system of the team and were better.
"But I mean its crazy to play home games away like this; I mean we on the back foot aren't we? I mean how many thousands for our home game so it was crazy. That’s the first thing.
"Secondly, we fought and battled. We weren’t at our best. With the change in the structure, I thought we were good.
"But to let them back in like that right at the end was disappointing. But you got to take three points certainly at the end of the day."
