Cape Town - Bidvest
Wits coach Gavin Hunt has once again highlighted his team's quality in
depth this season compared to previous campaigns ahead of their MTN8 tie
against Orlando Pirates.
The Clever Boys got their Premiership season off to a flying start, when they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 at the Bidvest Stadium, with goals from Elias Pelembe and Thulani Hlatswayo.
Hunt's charges shift their attention to the MTN8, where they will face Orlando Pirates in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
Muhsin Ertugral's side looked impressive in their 3-1 victory against Golden Arrows, with striker Tendai Ndoro netting a hat-trick, but Hunt remains confident.
"We have lacked depth in our squad over the past three years but this season we have the numbers and the quality. Saturday will definitely be a test for the squad as a cup is different to the league," he told the club's website.
