Highlands Park impressed with 'influential' Yeye

Cape Town - Highlands Park coach Owen Da Gama says Reneilwe Letsholonyane is impressing on trial and could offer his side a lot if he does put pen to paper.

Letsholonyane is a free agent after leaving SuperSport United and is currently seeking a new side for the 2019/20 campaign.

The former Kaizer Chiefs superstar is 37 years old but still believes he has plenty to offer in South Africa's top flight.

Speaking after Highlands' 2-1 victory over AmaZulu, Da Gama said: "Letsholonyane has been training with us but because of the breaks we are away for the whole week and back.

"But he is training with us, he is looking very sharp. I don't know what's going to happen, if it works out very well then management makes a decision on that, I can't make a decision.

"I will be very happy with just his influence, his ability to play, and imagine how he can make Peter Shalulile and all the other players play.

"So I think he can come and add value for us. We need a little bit of experience, especially in the middle."
