Cape Town - Chippa United head coach Vladislav Heric believes his side have to be more relentless and committed throughout the 90 minutes of matches in order to avoid dropping points.
The Chilli Boys squandered a lead against Ajax Cape Town as the club succumbed to a last minute equaliser from the in-form Yannick Zakri, in Sunday's Premiership clash at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
As such, Heric insists that his team work on their application throughout games in order to improve.
"It feels like we lost the game (against Ajax). It was important for us to win this game and get to 36 points," he said as quoted by Soccer Laduma website.
"We were a little bit lethargic in the first half even though we created a few chances. We were slow (in) our build up and gave them time on the ball. We were good on counters. I believe we should have scored two or three goals. Mark Mayambela was brilliant for us on the flanks.
"We stopped playing which resulted in a tactical mistake. I feel that my players did well and I remain proud of their efforts.
"The performance was again solid but at home, a point is not enough, it is not acceptable."
He continued: "I will ask my players to show more aggression and energy at our home games. Our home record must improve, that is for sure.
"I do think that despite the draw the team has improved tremendously and I applaud my players for their effort.
"We will go back to the training ground and correct it and try to be ready for the next game."
The Chilli Boys travel to the Free State next week for an Absa Premiership clash against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30 on Tuesday, April 24.
