Heric compares Ajax CT to Real Madrid

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town MultiChoice Diski Challenge head coach Vladislav Heric has thanked Roger De Sa for his influence in bringing him to the club and vows to do his part in the development of the young players at the club, as well as to bring more success.

Heric has a vast experience with coaching stints at Black Leopards, Chippa United, Polokwane City and Royal Eagles most recently. With a keen eye for development, Heric has begun his influence at the club on a good note and will be in action for the first time at MDC coach when they take on Bloemfontein Celtic at Cape Town Stadium this Friday afternoon.

“I got approached by Roger De Sa to come and coach the Diski team at Ajax and to also help him with the PSL team," said Heric on the club's website.

"I decided to go to that journey, my family is here in Cape Town, so it is easy for me to be here. To work in a football club as highly rated as Ajax Cape Town is a big step, I’ll try to do my best to get improvement in the Diski team and try to give some of my experience to the PSL players as well, whatever Roger requires from me.

"I would like to thank him for that call, also thank you to everyone at Ajax who played a role in getting me here,” commented Heric.

“This is one of the most professional, if not the most professional club in the country. Working here feels like working for Real Madrid in South Africa.

"We have all the resources to have good results and to produce more PSL players, also more players who can make it overseas. My input will be focused on developing more players to get more success for the club,” he added.

“I feel at home here already. It’s very nice to be able to sit here and talk about football. We understand one-another, we are on the same page. It’s very exciting for me to work here,” concluded Heric.

Ajax face Bloemfontein Celtic on Friday, January 8 as the PSL resumes.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
