Bradley Grobler says it's a good thing to be linked with clubs like Orlando Pirates, but admits he would happily stay at SuperSport United until the end of his career.
The 32-year-old Bafana striker joined Matsatsantsa from Ajax Cape Town in 2013.
He has been a mainstay of the side ever since and a regular goalscorer - prompting media reports that he has been a wanted man over the years.
A move to the Soweto giants appeared to be on the cards last season but nothing came of it.
This term Grobler has scored 12 league goals alongside helping his team win the MTN8.
Speaking to Kickoff, the striker said: "Ja I mean there's been lot of talk and I think talk is always nice.
"It's always nice to be linked with big teams. It shows that you did something right and from that side of it, it's a good thing."
He added: "There were talks but I think sometimes things get blown up a bit in the media. There were definitely talks and that... ja I mean I'm glad at SuperSport, I'm happy to be there.
"It's been a good season and all I wanted to do was to play football and that's what happened and right now I'm not really thinking about anything other than just kind of get back onto the field and finishing the season and seeing what really happens there.
"At the same I think in football anything can happen, I don't think it's right to rule anything out completely. It's not like anything is lined up or there's talks at the moment, it's just that in football things do happen.
"But ja, as I said I'm very happy at SuperSport and if I end my career playing there I wouldn't be unhappy at all."
