Cape Town - SuperSport United striker Bradley Grobler says he has not set himself a goal-scoring target for this season, and insists he is merely focused on staying fit.
The 31-year-old has hit the ground running this term after an injury-hit 2018/19 campaign saw him score just once in 16 first-team appearances in the Absa Premiership.
Grobler opened his Premiership account with a brace in a 3-0 triumph over Orlando Pirates last week, before adding to his tally with a goal in the 3-0 win against Wits in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
And, ahead of a crunch clash with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday evening, Grobler is adamant that his main concern is staying fit and enjoying his football.
"Well, the most important thing for me is to stay fit and enjoy playing football," Grobler told Goal.com. "I have struggled with injuries in recent seasons and I played a few matches for my team.
"So, I don't want to set a target in terms of the number of goals, I just want to focus on playing football.
"My main target for this season is to stay fit and play as many games as possible, and see where I end up in terms of goals."
He added: "I want to do well for the club and help the team maintain its good run. It does not matter, who we are playing against at the moment.
"We just want to continue winning our games and keep the momentum going.
"I am looking forward to playing against Chiefs. We need to play as a unit and make sure we take our chances. It would be nice to score and help the team win."
