Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Morgan Gould suggested that a continental medal will make his trophy-laden career complete ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Al-Ahly.
Matsatsantsa claimed the scalp of Elgeco Plus in the preliminary round and prepare to take on the Sudanese outfit on Sunday at the Shendi Stadium.
Gould, who has won every trophy on the domestic front, says it would be a dream come true to win a club competition in Africa.
"That's every player's dream," he told SowetanLive website. "I would like to put my hands on something like that before I retire.
"It's not easy, but we need to try do what we can on the pitch. For us to get silverware, whether it's in the Confed Cup or any other competition, would be good for the team and for South Africans.
"SA teams have been doing well. So why not do what our neighbors did? It's a big test for us. It will be a difficult one playing there because it's hot. We just need to go there and have our mind set on one thing.
"Sudanese teams are physical and run a lot. They'll have the 12th man [supporters], but we need to get the job done. I think a 2-0 result would be ideal."
