Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to part ways with defender Lorenzo Gordinho with reports suggesting it will be a mutual termination of contract.
Gordinho was once considered one of Chiefs' brightest prospects but his stock has fallen in recent seasons.
He was sent out on a lengthy loan to Bloemfontein Celtic before being used sparingly upon his return by coach Ernst Middendorp.
As such, the 25 year old's days at Naturena appear to be numbered with Soccer Laduma reporting he is surplus to requirements for the Glamour Boys.
Chiefs are culling a number of players from the squad which finished ninth and lost the Nedbank Cup final to TS Galaxy.
Ryan Moon has seen his head role off the chopping block whereas Leonardo Castro has been placed on the transfer list.
Defender Mario Booysen and striker Emmanuel Letlotlo are also reportedly set to place their heads on the chopping block.
Despite having signed a three-year deal in 2017, Gordinho is likely headed out of the exit door after a mutual termination of contract.
Talks are said to be ongoing regarding the parting of ways but there is a possibility he could remain with Amakhosi.
The player made just three league appearances in 2018/19 for Chiefs as others were often favoured ahead of him.
