Cape Town - Goal-shy AmaZulu continued to struggle as they limped to a tame 0-0 draw with Black Leopards at Thohoyandou Stadium in the Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
It is now four games since have managed to find the back of the net. This has obviously had a major impact on their results, with their last winning coming against Stellenbosch FC back at the beginning of November.
They can, perhaps, be forgiven for not scoring in the 1-0 loss away from home to Mamelodi Sundowns a fortnight ago. They actually played very well in that match but failing to register a single goal against Chippa United, Maritzburg United and Black Leopards is incredibly concerning.
They currently languish down in 14th place in the standings just one point above the relegation places having played a game more than both Stellenbosch and Chippa United.
If the don't find a way to get some goals soon, they will face a very real danger of relegation this season. Playing well means nothing if you don't get results.
Black Leopards, on the other hand, will be bitterly disappointed with their performance being second best for much of the fixture despite being well above AmaZulu in the table and the fact that they were playing at home.
They came into the match full of confidence after beating Golden Arrows last time out, but never really managed to find a way into the game and only managed a solitary shot on target in the entire game.
