Games in hand mean nothing, says Pitso

Cape Town - Head coach Pitso Mosimane is aware that Mamelodi Sundowns must dig deep to maintain their lead at the top of the Absa Premiership table ahead of their with Chippa United.

Sundowns are just one point ahead of second-placed Orlando Pirates as they prepare to welcome the Chilli Boys to Loftus Versfeld on Wednesday.

Mosimane admitted Chippa are a tricky team that will cause problems for the Brazilians, who will have to be at their best to come away with the three points on offer.

"It's back to the fire now, it's tough," Mosimane told the club's official website.

"We have a game in hand, but games in hand don't mean anything. You have to win your games.

"Chippa always gives us problems. We always draw with that team. But sometimes history can change, like the history Cape Town City had over us, now it has changed.

"We have to do the same with Chippa."

Kick-off is at 19:30.
