Gabuza targeting CAF glory

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates striker Thamsanqa Gabuza says he will do everything in his power to ensure the Buccaneers claim victory against Etoile du Sahel on Saturday, November 21.

Eric Tinkler's men take on the Tunisian outfit in the first-leg encounter at Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening, before making the trip to Sousse a week later.

Pirates will undoubtedly be aiming to make a big impression in the first-leg, with a view to taking an advantage to Tunisia for the return leg.

Gabuza says he and his team-mates are ready for the challenge, even if they do not have a clear idea of what to expect from their opponents.

"This is a big game for us," Gabuza told the club's official website.

"We are all ready for this game against Etoile du Sahel - there isn't much we know about them but the fact that they have reached this stage of the competition means that we will have to be at our best if we want to win this competition.

"On a personal level, I am prepared to do whatever I can to help the team win on the day.

"If I score it will be great but the most important thing for me and the team is to ensure that we register a win against Etoile du Sahel."
