Cape Town - SuperSport United midfielder Dean Furman has called on his team to rise to the occasion against Mamelodi Sundowns in their Telkom Knockout semi-final on Saturday.
Furman will lead Matsatsantsa in his first derby when they face their neighbours Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
The Bafana Bafana international is wary of an in-form Brazilians outfit that has won four of their last five matches in all competitions.
"It's a huge game. The semi-final could not have worked out any better with two derbies," Furman told The Sowetan.
"I am sure there will be a great atmosphere at the stadium and as a player these are the type of games you want to be involved in.
"Sundowns are in terrific form and top of the log. They have top players all over the park and they have goals in the team, but it's a cup game and we want to progress and defend our title.
"We are more than capable of getting a win. We will impose our game on Sundowns."
Kick-off is at 20:00.
