Cape Town - SuperSport United captain Dean Furman says his team will have to be at their best if they are to break down Highlands Park in the MTN8 final that will be played at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The Lions of the North have yet to concede a goal in the tournament and even though Matsatsantsa will be firm favourites to win the trophy, Furman knows how difficult his team's task will be.
The SuperSport skipper said: "Highlands are in the final and rightfully so. It would be a complete lack of respect if we undermine them.
"They have a very effective way of playing and a tough defence, which we will have to see how to deal with.
"They are dangerous and have some good players in the team. They are a fit team and will put up a fight."
SuperSport will also be looking to avoid losing in two consecutive MTN8 finals, having come up short against Cape Town City last season.
Furman continued: "It's no use getting to finals, we want to win them.
"Of the last six finals we have played we have won three so we want to improve our win ratio.
"We don't need any more motivation than lifting that trophy at the end of the day. It was very disappointing to lose the final last year and we want to correct that."
Kick-off is at 18:00.
