Cape Town - SuperSport United captain Dean Furman believes their Nedbank Cup final triumph over Orlando Pirates is an unbelievable achievement for the club.
Matsatsansa lifted the trophy after coming from behind and beating the Soweto giants 3-2 at the Peter Mokaba stadium in what's been a dramatic turn of fortunes for the Tshwane based club.
"It's unbelievable, we have had a lot of ups and downs this season and a lot of people have written us off, but it shows unbelievable character," he said after the game.
"We have come from behind once again to go on and win the game. Some of our football was mesmerising."
The South Africa international midfielder admits Stuart Baxter deserves massive credit for the work his done in such a short period of time.
"For the players it is an unbelievable achievement and to the coaching staff, they have been excellent since they came in and we have really loved working with them.
"But for our fans, its incredible, they have stuck with us through everything this season and in a stadium full of Pirates fans they were right behind us."
"It offered us a massive chance to salvage something from our season and turned it from one that we might have wanted to forget to something really memorable.
"For us to lift the trophy on the final day, you can't get much better."
