Frosler: One game at a time and slowly we will get there

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler remains confident that Amakhosi will win the Absa Premiership title but said they must not look too far ahead in the title race.

Amakhosi (45 points) currently hold a four-point lead at the top of the Absa Premiership standings over Mamelodi Sundowns (41) going into this weekend's Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates (39), who are in third place.

The league represents the last chance that the Glamour Boys can pick up silverware this season they were knocked out of the Nedbank Cup on penalties by Highlands Park on Saturday.

With 10 games of the season remaining, Frosler has brought out the old cliché of just taking it "one game at a time" as they look to break the five-year trophy drought at Amakhosi.

Frosler said in quotes published on Far Post: "Yeah, I mean the league is tight. People can say you've got a big gap, but the league is always tight.

"No one has secured a victory. No one has secured anything. So, one game at a time and slowly, but surely, we will get there.

"We will just keep working one game at a time and get victories for ourselves."

Saturday's match kicks off at 15:30.
