Cape Town - Highlands Park coach Allan Freese believes his team got a raw deal from the officials after conceding another penalty in the 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.
Chiefs were awarded a penalty by referee Lwandile Mfiki for a foul from Auguston Leonard on William Twala that appeared to be just outside the box.
George Lebese stepped up to bury the penalty in the 65th minute after the rookies had also conceded a penalty their 2-1 win over Baroka FC last week.
"Yeah, it was unlucky for that today. But how were they beating us now, two games, and how many penalties?," Freese told KickOff.
"So let's leave it that. They started better in the second half, but I thought we also had opportunities. Not clear-cut no, but we did have opportunities to do something, we didn't in the end.
"It's back to the drawing board as they say. We still got another game on Saturday (against Polokwane City). It's still early in the league, so yeah, the boys tried. We will come back again."
