Freese confirms new Highlands Park role

Cape Town - Former Highlands Park head coach Allan Freese has confirmed his new role at the club, after being replaced by Gordon Igesund.

Freese takes over at the club's academy in order to oversee the development of the Lions of the North's youth prospects.

"Yes, I have accepted a new position in the academy now," Freese told KickOff.

"I am still around the club and I hope to produce many good players for the club."

Igesund was revealed as Highlands Park's new head coach last week Tuesday, and has since led them to a 2-0 victory over Chippa United in his first game in charge.
