Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has revealed the club are interested in signing former Orlando Pirates defender Frank Motebejane.

Motebejane has been training with the Durban-based side since pre-season and was a part of the Arrows team which defeated Maritzburg United during the quarter-finals of KZN Premier's Cup ahead of 2018/19.

The 23-year-old was previously on the books of Pirates when he was signed after impressing in the 2016 SAB National League playoffs held in Limpopo along with Yusuf Maart.

However, he failed to break through into the Sea Robbers first team but instead played regularly for Bucs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.

At the beginning of last season he then joined Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC in the National First Division where he made 27 league appearances.

Speaking to Kickoff, Larsen said: "He's (Motebejane) still training with us but we are due to sign him. At this stage there's a very real possibility that we'll sign him."
