Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates striker Ayanda Nkosi has surfaced at Polokwane City as he looks to re-ignite his ailing career.
Nkosi spent the last three seasons at Pirates where he struggled to break into the starting line-up - making just 10 appearances and starting one match in the Absa Premiership.
The 26-year-old spent time at Jomo Cosmos last season on loan where he made seven appearances in the National First Division and scored one goal.
His agent Jazzman Mahlakgane told KickOff: "Ayanda Nkosi is currently training with Polokwane City. "He just started yesterday [Thursday] with Polokwane, so we'll see by the end of the week obviously what's going to be the decision by the new coach [Zlatko Krmpotic] and his assistant."
Meanwhile, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Khotso Malope has penned a deal with NFD outfit Richards Bay.
Head coach Brandon Truter said: "We signed Sibusiso Msomi and Khotso Malope. They've put pen-to-paper yesterday or the day before, along with two youngsters from Gauteng."
