Fielies commits to CT City, signs new deal

Cape Town - Absa Premiership outfit Cape Town City have confirmed that defender Taariq Fielies has put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract.

Following the departure of former captain Robyn Johannes on a free transfer to Johannesburg side Wits, City have not waited long to tie-down Fielies to a long-term deal.

The defender has impressed since his arrival from Milano United last season, and will be a Citizen until at least the 2022/2023 season.

Meanwhile, City will be back in action on Saturday, August 18 against Golden Arrows at Cape Town Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00 (SA time).
