Goalkeeper Jody February says he's looking forward to grow as a player at defending Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 23-year-old was snapped up by Downs from Ajax Cape Town at the beginning of the season before being loaned to Cape Umoya United.
A South Africa under-23 international goalkeeper, with big ambitions, February revealed his delight at the switch.
He told KickOff: "Sundowns is a good team for me considering my age. I can grow and learn from the other goalkeepers while fighting for a place in the starting line-up.
"My personal goals next season are to fight and get a place in the 18-man squad and work hard to show that I wasn't signed for the sake of it. I want to work hard and remain in the setup."
February added: "I am excited for the new challenge. It's a higher level and more expectations, which is good, it can bring the best out of you.
"The results are there as you can see, they are competing for trophies."
February will have to compete with Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene and Reyaad Pieterse for the number one jersey at Sundowns.
