Cape Town - Maritzburg United assistant coach Fadlu Davids has insisted that he is not interested in the being a head coach right now.
Davids has come to The Team of Choice’s rescue twice this season having taken over after the club parted ways with Ernst Middendorp.
The 36-year-old then filled the void after Roger de Sa was shown the door and has since steered the club to seventh place on the premiership log.
"I said it the first time when I was interim coach after Ernst Middendorp resigned," says Davids as quoted by KickOff website.
"I know I will be a head coach one day, it's not about being afraid. I have a clear target to complete my Uefa licences. I have just finished my CAF B licence and I want to go all way to Uefa PRO.
"I know coaching is a lifestyle, it's 24/7. My main priority is getting those badges."
With one match remaining left of the season, Davids will hope his charges can make a top eight finish and qualify for the MTN8 Cup next season.
United will tackle Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday, May 27.
Kick off is at 15:00.
