Cape Town - Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael says Ea Lla Koto have turned their attention to the Premiership following their success in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals over the weekend.
Stars defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 on Saturday to reach their first final in 19-years, however, Eymael stated that his side have now turned their attention to Wednesday evening's match with Supersport United.
The Belgian coach said that there is still a lot to play for as his side has a chance of finishing the campaign among the top five teams in the league.
“It’s good that we have booked a place in the final where we will play a very good Maritzburg United side, that is three points ahead of us in the Premiership,” Eymael exclusively told Vodacom Soccer.
“It is a team well structured, well organised so it is going to be a nice final I think. It’s a 50/50 chance for both teams.
“They are number three in the Premiership table and we are in fifth position and three points behind them. All of us are fighting for top five, top eight or top three.
“We both beat giants to get to the final and we are not there by chance, but hard work and commitment. Both of us deserve to be there.
“But it’s important to do well in the Premiership as well. We are already focused on our away game with Supersport and will comeback to play Polokwane City.”
