Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral has dismissed suggestions that his side is in the running for the Premiership title this season.
AmaZayoni kicked off their 2016 campaign in winning fashion as Collins Mbesuma, the Premiership's top scorer, converted from the penalty spot in the second half to raise his tally for the season to eight goals.
The result also marked a fourth consecutive league victory for Ertugral's men, and moved them level with Mamelodi Sundowns on 27 points apiece.
When asked if he saw his side challenging for the Premiership crown this season, Ertugral told KickOff: "It's too early to start to talk about that.
"We have had a fantastic run but we need to be humble and keep our feet on the ground.
"We have not yet achieved anything. Let's remain focused and continue playing exciting football and please our supporters. We must let the other people talk."
Next up for Aces is a mouthwatering Premiership clash with table-topping Bivest Wits at Bidvest Stadium on Friday, January 15.
